Summary

The IT Electronic Medical Records Assistant assists in organizing and updating information for the team.

Essential Functions:

· Organize information and process gathering material for system builds and implementation

· Organize and develop meeting minutes

· Navigate the electronic health record system to identify user issues

· Facilitate IT system projects

· Perform various administrative functions according to department needs.

· Provide department support functions including word processing, filling, scanning, and copying

 

Job Behavioral Expectations:

· This position allows for understanding the behind the scenes and indirect work of clinical care as we move into more electronic based systems to support efficiencies of clinicians

· Building time management and organization skills.

· Develop communication skills in a professional setting as well as working with vulnerable populations

· Increase understanding of healthcare with an IT twist

· Gaining understanding of what a electronic health record system looks

NOTE: This position is hybrid, half in-person and half remote
