Hospitality Contract Specialist

The Hospitality Contract Specialist will be chiefly responsible for monitoring and managing special orders at the client and project level and being the main contact point between the client and Visual Comfort

Responsibilities:

• Review project orders daily to ensure all open items have a fulfillment plan.
• Work with purchasing to issue factory production orders as needed
• Serve as a client contact for order inquiries
• Provide updates to clients as needed. This could be on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis
• Provide spec sheets to clients for approval 
• Work with design to provide custom drawings when needed
• Ensure custom specifications are client approved before proceeding to production
• Proactively monitor project orders to ensure items have a fill plan
• Communicate estimated ship dates to clients through project logs
• Disseminate balance due invoices to clients prior to order shipment when needed

Requirements:

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience in Design, Hospitality, and/or Sales environments highly desirable but not required 
• SAP or other ERP experience required
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn and retain product assortment and item numbers
• Possesses a keen eye for detail and focus on producing quality results
• Utilizes sound judgment, professionalism, and malleability to meet evolving deadlines and deliverables
