Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector is chiefly responsible for maintaining quality standards by approving incoming products and recording quality results.

Responsibilities:

• Reviews inspection packets for product specifications
• Inspects incoming products by confirming specifications
• Conducts visual tests
• Records inspection results
• Notifies Lead Inspector of all failed inspections
• Meets department and quality goals daily
• Accomplish all tasks assigned or requested

Requirements:

• High School Degree, Diploma or a GED equivalent certificate from a certified institution
• Minimum 2 years of experience inspecting products
• Manufacturing/Distribution environment a must
• Basic math, reading, and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of using and operating warehouse machinery and equipment (pallet jack, pallet rider, order picker, forklift)
• Requires squatting, kneeling, bending, and some overhead lifting
• Works well in a team environment
