Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, the Quality Coordinator is supporting the entire Quality team with administrative tasks and coordination of QMS and compliance topics. The Quality Coordinator will collaborate with the entire company in this role in terms of requesting information and setting deadlines/requirements.

 

Key area of responsibility is helping with documenting internal audits, non-conforming products, corrective actions, customer complaints and change requests, but also collecting and maintaining data related to Product compliance topics, PPAP (New Product Introduction) and our ESG program (Environmental, Social, Governance). However, supporting with receiving inspections may be necessary on occasion.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Log quality data in the QMS: non-conforming products, corrective actions, customer feedback, change requests, and material review.
  • Support compliance information collection from suppliers by setting up surveys and monitoring/following up.
  • Coordinate change requests (transfers) and documents to maintain accurate records.
  • Collect and summarize data for ESG reporting.
  • Pull and summarize monthly reports.
  • Review and approve steering documents.
  • Schedule and maintain results from internal audits.
  • Facilitate and drive root cause analysis and problem-solving for audit non-compliances, as necessary.
  • Develop standard work procedures and instructions.
  • Support new product launches by administering the PPAP process to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Support internal audits.
  • Provide backup support for Quality Technicians by completing inspections and sorting products as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Degree
  • Experience managing documentation systems within a QMS.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including word processing (typing), spreadsheets (MS Excel), and Outlook.
  • Understanding of electrical and mechanical concepts is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of the principles, practices, and objectives of Quality systems.
  • Experience with Auditing per QMS.
  • Experience in Quality Root cause analysis (5Why, 8D, CAPA).
  • High level of independent thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Higher Education
  • Experience with ESG topics
