Operations Materials Lead

Assists the Operations Manager in overseeing the Parts Teams. Ensures work orders are printed, distributed to the instruction room and picking team to be filled accurately by due dates

Responsibilities:       

• Assign and ensure work orders are completed on time by organizing demands.
• Track replenishment of primary locations.  
• Promptly resolve all material or location issues communicated by picking team
• Assist in completing performance evaluations and participate in providing feedback to team members as needed.
• Communicate frequently throughout the day with most other department team members via email, by phone and face to face.
• Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule as determined by manager.
• Ability to work with little to no supervision. Adhere to all safety, housekeeping guidelines as well as well as all work rules and policies.
• Lead the twice daily ergo exercises

Requirements:

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 - 3 years of full-time related experience in a production control, planning, inventory control environment which utilizes an ERP system.  Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be accepted.

• Must be able to read, write and speak English. 
• Must exhibit proficient computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and outlook.

• Ability to follow instructions and train team members per instructions in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to follow directions and communicate in English verbally and in writing and to read and understand materials printed in English.
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere, promoting positive work relationships with both internal and external guests.
• Ability to complete a performance evaluation and provide feedback as needed to assigned team members.
• Capacity to be self-motivated and achieve goals with minimal supervision or direction.
• Basic understanding of MRP/ERP is a plus.

Hours:

Monday through Friday, full-time with work hours designated by the Manager or Supervisor. Team Members are required to work overtime when requested.
