The Air Quality Specialist will aid with project-level activity, supporting air permitting, air regulatory compliance, and compliance evaluation for upstream and midstream gas operations at new and existing sites.  Focus will be on contributing to federal and state reporting programs and working on internal efficiency improvement projects related to compliance efforts while working closely with Operations and Engineering teams.  

Target Responsibilities:

•    Work safely and ensure operational compliance with all Company, State and Federal Oil & Gas regulations.
•    Support the completion of compliance assurance tasks by working collaboratively with Operations, Engineering, vendors, and consultants.  
•    Coordinate air compliance efforts for both new and existing upstream and midstream facilities.
•    Evaluate on-site conditions for consistency with AQ program requirements, such as asset inventories, agency inspection requests, etc.  Periodic field visits will be required to complete these tasks.
•    Travel between operating areas in PA, WV, VA, and OH will be required as will travel between other CNX offices.
•    Administrative tasks associated with regulatory agency notifications, technical report reviews/submissions, and internal project management tracking (budget support, purchase orders, requisitions, etc.) as needed or assigned.
•    Effectively maintain file archives, checklists, spreadsheets, and agency correspondence records.
•    Maintain high level of work quality while adhering to strict compliance and internal timelines. 
•    Serve as a steward of the CNX Mission and Core Values (Responsibility, Ownership, and Excellence).

Minimum Requirements:

•    A bachelor’s degree in chemical/environmental engineering or environmental science is required.
•    2-3 years of air quality compliance or engineering related experience preferred.
•    Understanding Oil & Gas air permit application submission requirements to state environmental agencies.
•    Experience in Oil & Gas air permit application submission to state environmental agencies.
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.  
•    Experience with emissions calculation software.
•    Ability to manage multiple activities/tasks in a high pace environment.
