Assist in the continued development and operation of the assigned department daily operation.  This role will be responsible for completing daily orders, training, and Quality Control (QC)

The overall duties include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift and all matters relating to this are dealt with using the resources within the company in line with the Company Safety Policy
  • Subject matter expert of production process and equipment
  • Troubleshoot production issues and resolve them in a timely manner
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of production personnel
  • Assist in writing and reviewing existing and new SOPs
  • Train and mentor production staff in the use of equipment and process
  • Troubleshoot and investigate production and quality issues
  • Report unusual conditions or circumstances to supervisor
  • Managing supply and inventory levels
  • Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition

 

 Requirement/Skills Desired:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in production
  • Experience as a team lead a plus
  • Knowledge of production process and equipment
  • Must be quality minded, detail oriented and comfortable working in a team environment along with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Commuter skills and the ability to enter data accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, professionally confident and self-motivated

 

Education Requirements:

High School Graduate or GED or any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities.
