Lead Panels Technician

Cardinal Equipment Services remanufactures beverage dispensing equipment to include soda fountains, valves, bar guns, coffee brewers, and backroom equipment.

Work as part of a team having responsibility for safely completing the preparation of 10-15 vending machines or coolers for the next steps in the remanufacturing process.
The overall responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Complete visual inspection to determine course of action or repair.
- Remove plastic and metal panels using the appropriate tools.
- Accurately measure vending machines and coolers for replacement sides.
- Apply plastic side panels using correct tools.
- Apply metal panels using a rivet gun.
- Assist with on-the-job training and continuous improvement.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clear, safe and orderly condition.
- Follow prescribed safety measures and procedures.
- Assist team in achieving facility and department goals.
Requirements/Skills Desired:
- Strong hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to use hand and power tools to include tape measurer.
- Ability to read, speak and write English and follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to use computers.
- Ability to operate manual hand pallet jack.
- Follow direction of team leadership.
- Ability to use good judgement and problem-solving skills.
- Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
Working Conditions:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time; to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, twist, reach, grasp, and make repetitive hand movements in the performance of daily duties. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight; to operate assigned equipment and to verbally communicate to exchange information. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment.
Education Requirements:
High School Graduate or GED or any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities.
