Who We Are:  
Cardinal Equipment Services remanufactures beverage dispensing equipment to include soda fountains, valves, bar guns, coffee brewers, and backroom equipment.

Work as part of a team having responsibility for safely shipping and receiving soda fountain equipment and vending machine payment systems into and out of the facility.

 

The overall responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Follow instructions based on customer and company requirements.
  • Verify and receive products as they enter the facility.
  • Assist in unloading trucks.
  • Sort products by product type, verify counts, and enter information into company computer system.
  • Package and ship products to customers using FedEx, UPS and LTL.
  • Create shipping labels and verify information.
  • Work as a team to meet company targets.
  • Assist with on-the-job training and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clear, safe and orderly condition.

 

Requirements/skills desired:

  • Strong hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to read, speak and write English and follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Moderate computer skills and the ability to learn and operate the company computer system, SAP experience a plus.
  • Ability to use a pallet jack, forklift experience a plus.
  • Follow direction of team leadership.
  • Ability to use good judgement and problem-solving skills.

 

Working Conditions:

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time; to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, twist, reach, grasp, and make repetitive hand movements in the performance of daily duties. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight; to operate assigned equipment and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
