ROLE SUMMARY
The Field Marketing Specialist (FMS) contractor is a brand representative for CorePower Yoga, focused on increasing local awareness of the CorePower Yoga brand through marketing efforts at and around the local studios. This contract position supports the national marketing team and studio leadership in executing local events and building impactful local partnerships aimed at driving new students to the local studios and leads to the Sales team. This individual will exhibit the Company’s Core Values of Empower Everyone, Practice Gratitude, Build Community, Grow Forward & Laugh Together.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
● Execute field marketing initiatives and programs central to the growth of the local studios (Outdoor Classes and Events, Studio Workshops and Events, Community Partnerships)
● Create a buzz about CorePower in the local market and passionately promote the Free Week and special membership and class pack offers
● Track and report on all field marketing efforts and the results
● Leverage the local marketing toolkit to identify and develop new Company and Community Partnerships specific to the local market
● Fill the lead funnel for the Sales team (Company Partners, Membership)
● Track and report on all leads — student leads, community partner leads, corporate partnership leads
● Stay on top of local current events, happenings, hot spots, influencers, and trends
● Maintain and innovate field marketing strategies + community outreach tools to support local studios
● Identify, plan and execute outdoor and indoor studio events and workshops with an eye to conversion to Free Week, Classpacks, Membership
● Collaborate with marketing team to ideate and evaluate local marketing programs specific to the area/city; provide feedback on existing tools and templates
● Key metrics –
○ CPY hosted events
○ Participation in local events - both external and internal
○ # of leads
EDUCATION, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
● Affinity for and understanding of the CorePower Yoga brand, yoga and fitness
● A natural connector with deep knowledge of the local area
● Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective professional relationships with co-workers and external partners
● Strong customer relations skills; must be outgoing, assertive and enjoy working with others
● Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
● Understanding of social media, field marketing and event planning
● Strict attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines; solid organizational
● Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines
● Proven self-starter with ability to take on new projects with enthusiasm
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
COMPENSATION
● Hourly Rate: $28/hour; 40 hours per week
● Incentive pay available based on quantity of established partnerships, number of leads, and more
