Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Psychiatric Mental Health (PMH) – Child & Adolescent Experience Required

POSITION:

• Part-time on-site opportunity primarily serving children and adolescents ages 4-17, and some adults in an outpatient behavioral health clinic.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• The selected APRN will join multidisciplinary team of clinical and medical staff. Under the supervision of a delegating psychiatrist, the APRN:
• Completes psychiatric diagnostic assessments and follow ups.
• Makes recommendations for treatment within an evidence-based framework.
• Demonstrates strong clinical judgment in assessment, application of diagnostic criteria, clinical formulations, and sound triage decisions.
• Provides consultation regarding client care to clinical staff.
• Actively contributes to the treatment center and organization through on-going collaborative efforts.
• This position serves primarily children and adolescents ages 4-17, and some adults.

MINIMUM TRAINING EXPERIENCE: 

• APRN-PMH Certification
• GA State License
• Experience working with the Children & Adolescent Population required
• Will mainly be working with ages 4-17 but may also see some adults
