ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

·        Assists Department Manager in establishing and implementing departmental goals and business plans adhering to established guidelines, timetable, and approved resources.

·        Assists in handling day-to-day operations of the Department.

·        Assists in handling and resolving direct guests’ complaints/inquiries/concerns in a timely and professional manner.

·        Assists in handling and resolving billing disputes from all booking channels.

·        Final review/reconciliations of all guests’ pay hotel reservations from commissionable third-party platforms, i.e., Expedia, Booking.com and Revato prior to approval for payment.

·        Assists Department Manager in evaluating and modifying all casino, wholesale, dot.com and hotel blocks, programs and selling parameters according to availability.

·       Establishes and maintains files and reports in systems applications relevant to the operation of the department per the Hotel Director’s instruction.

·        Maintains a cooperative professional relationship with other departments to meet Company’s work and conduct standards.

·        Evaluates casino VIPs profitability and initiates related complimentary code upgrades/downgrades to aid Reservation Agents in their job performance.

·        Assists Department Manager in formulating plans, objectives, strategies, resource requirements and other relevant information for proper operation of the department which are provided to senior level management during hotel and casino meetings for approval.

·     Hands-on management of all departmental team members, high visibility leadership and working with team members during their shift.

·     Trains, monitors and guides team members in procedures and departmental rules ensuring that quantity and quality remain consistently at high levels in accordance with company/departmental goals/policies. 

·      Provides counseling and input to team members regarding job performance.

·        Ensures adequate staffing in accordance with business demands and monitors departmental payroll

·        Keeps Department Manager appraised of daily departmental productivity and exercises initiative and judgment, thus, relieving Manager of extraneous matters.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

·        Must be able to perform all essential functions of a Supervisor/Reservations Agent and Sr. Data Entry Clerk.

·        Maintains the highest level of confidentiality as required.
