Facilities Technician

Duran Golf Club, known for delivering “Florida’s Exceptional Golf Experience,” is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Facilities Technician.  In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our club remains clean, safe, and visually stunning, providing our members and guests with a top-tier experience.  In this role you’ll:

• Conducting daily cleaning of restrooms, pressure washing, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal to ensure spotless facilities
• Performing building maintenance, including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, and carpentry
• Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders. Recognize and respond effectively to urgent needs
• Assisting with event setups, arranging tables, chairs, stages, and equipment for various occasions
• Work closely with outside contractors, supervising repairs to ensure everything is done to the highest standard
• Managing inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies, reporting needs to supervisors
• Completing administrative tasks like filling out forms and reporting maintenance issues
• Maintaining the exterior of the property and parking lot, keeping everything tidy and well-maintained

Requirements:

• High School Diploma (required)
• A minimum of one year of experience in building maintenance and custodial work
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and safe equipment handling
• Ability to work well with the public, contractors, and coworkers while maintaining professionalism
• Skills in basic building maintenance, record keeping, and enforcing department rules
• Competency with Microsoft Word and Excel, along with strong communication skills
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule as needed
