Our friendly and enthusiastic team inspires fun and surprise as they interact with guests to deliver the ultimate guest experience.
As Café Sale Lead (Part-time), you will:
- Provide exceptional guest service in support of café operations
- Ensure that guests have the best café experience possible
- Engage with guests and create an entertaining, fun, exciting and memorable experience
- Deliver food products in a timely fashion while maintaining health standards
- Maintain a clean, orderly and safe working environment
Qualifications:
- Prior retail keyholder, supervisory, cash-handling, and customer service experience
- Comfortable handling food products while exceeding customer expectations
- Open to completing the ServSafe Food Handling certification course
- Able to proactively intercept, engage, and demonstrate product to customers and able to effectively communicate menu features
- Previous food handling or cafe experience a plus
- Strong merchandising skills
- Able to work a flexible schedule, weekends, early evenings, and holidays
- Naturally enjoy interacting with people of all ages
- Welcoming, positive, engaging and friendly towards our customers, team members, and venue staff

- The Café Sales Lead must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Independence Visitor Center requires that all team members working on the premises must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
