Product Marketing Manager

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Marketing Manager, within our Lodging division. In this role, the Product Marketing Manager will implement and execute marketing campaigns and content for our CLC team. The ideal candidate will develop, implement, execute marketing strategies across our lodging business. The ideal candidate will be able to determine the most appealing features of our products as well as user experience and promote them to prospective and current customers. They must become experts on travel with a focus on our products and features to properly market them and to inform customers of our values and benefits. They will also need to conduct thorough research on competitors and will perform market research to understand what our customers look for in their ideal travel management solutions. You will report directly to the Marketing Director and regularly collaborate with various departments.

As a Product Marketing Manager you will be expected to work in a virtual/remote environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Responsibilities:

The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for building a customer-centric, product marketing function within the Lodging Division. The person will set the product marketing strategy, understand the competitive and industry landscape, and drive the creation of compelling product positioning and messaging. The ideal candidate is able to evangelize and differentiate our products across our growing portfolio in a highly competitive market.

 

  • Strategy:
    • Work with product strategy, engineering and support teams to understand customers, develop personas and be able to articulate company / product value through a variety of campaigns
    • Develop go-to-market strategy for Lodging products
  • Sales Enablement:
    • Create positioning for multi-channel sales organization that articulates products unique benefits
    • Work with marketing teams to ensure that the sales organization has the materials needed to effectively sell the product
    • Represent Lodging in sales and customer discussions
  • Business Analytics / Research:
    • Perform industry analysis to help identify new market segments
    • Use data to assess the market viability of new product offerings and features
    • Work with product management to define goals and metrics for product launches
  • Evangelization / Messaging:
    • Create content direction to support marketing team in demand generation and awareness campaigns to support Lodging
    • Develop and implement messaging plan to serve as foundation for marketing, sales, training and operational success
    • Stay up to date on relevant trends and developments within the space and communicate important items to key stakeholders
    • Strive to continuously deliver industry, market, and product insights to support product roadmap, positioning and campaign development
  • Other duties as assigned 

 

  • Working closely with Marketing Director to plan, strategize, and oversee the implementation of marketing campaigns
  • Ensuring that marketing campaigns follow the company’s identity, brand, and organizational guidelines
  • Collaborating with internal teams to create content, landing pages, marketing and sales collateral that support campaign execution and monitoring their activities and contribution to the project.
  • Handling tracking and measurement of the campaign results and performing analyses and KPI evaluation
  • QA’ing and providing feedback on the copy and visuals used for promotional purposes within the implemented campaigns
  • Improving ongoing campaigns based on performance data and leveraging the insights to make data-driven decisions regarding future campaigns
  • Identifying trends and insights, and optimize performance based on the insights.
  • Understanding the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.
  • Supporting tradeshow planning and execution.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing and strategy including content development, campaign development and execution, reporting, research and product marketing.
  • Travel industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to develop metrics, analyze data quantitatively and identify opportunities.
  • Experience in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
  • Experience in optimizing campaigns and user funnels.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Teams and Salesforce.
  • Familiar with marketing automation tools such as Marketo, Salesloft and Google Analytics.
  • Exceptional analytical and ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is or isn’t working and optimize.
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. Team player!
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years B2B or SaaS product marketing experience
  • Proven analytical and strategic product experience and ability to develop and implement creative solutions to an ever-changing landscape
  • Lodging, Financial Technology or Payment Industry experience preferred
  • Prioritization - Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines, be self-motivated and inspire teammates to be the same, work comfortably in a fast-paced environment and within group settings, have excellent time-management skills, have an ability to think creatively and strategically, have exceptional problem-solving skills, and have an ability to remain calm throughout the process.
  • Collaboration - Must also be a strong team player with an ability to develop effective working relationships across the organization and externally with partners, vendors, and media. 
  • Idea Fluency and Originality/ Problem Solving - Exceptional and creative problem-solving and ideation skills paired with the ability to identify and implement solutions.
  • Communications – Must have a deep understanding of the importance of messaging to product success and be able to clearly articulate product positioning to both internal and external audiences.

 

Work Scope and Context

  • Must work with operational timeframes but be flexible to changing priorities. Responsible for ensuring technical procedures and compliance standards are met.
  • Work affects flow, information, process, work and decisions of others; and is operational and strategic in nature.
  • Requires collaboration across the organization, deep technical skills, analysis and knowledge and application of data.
  • Position requires contact with others - in meetings, by phone or by email. Interactions focus on data collection, problem solving, needs analysis and information exchange. Interactions are initiated both in person or electronically.
  • Information exchange may include confidential or sensitive information. Technical development, strategic movement and problem-solving are primary objectives of this position.
  • Normal office working conditions. Work requires regular sitting/standing at a desk, working with a computer. Job may require hours that exceed 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week during peak periods.

 

 

This salary range is provided for locations which require such disclosure. Where a position or applicant may fall in a particular wage range varies depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications (if applicable), and other business and organization needs.  The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets.  At Corpay , it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  An estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $95,000 - $110,000
