What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Director/VP of Enterprise Sales within our Payables division. This position is in our Corporate Payments division and sells to the Enterprise Markets (Companies with $500M in annual Revenue ) and is located in the Midwest to Northwest region. In this role, you will be responsible for finding new opportunities and increasing revenue production within an assigned territory. You will report directly to Senior Vice President of Sales and regularly collaborate with Corpay field sales team.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

Builds new business in a specified territory

Helps customer navigate the first few months of implementation to ensure a smooth transition and complete realization of revenue

Drive new business growth by selling solutions to large enterprise commercial accounts with revenues over $500M

Research and understand the prospective client’s business goals, objectives, and challenges.

Propose solutions of our suite of products to deliver quantifiable business value through and our integrated platforms

Communicate accurate and timely forecasts to multiple layers of leadership both internally and externally 

Preparation of and execution to sales plans, events, campaigns

Deliver strong performance against required sales/revenue targets

Ability to work the process, stay engaged and quarterback the situation with an eye for details

 

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree required

5+ years of direct selling experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding sales goals in the mid-market 

Strong business development and prospecting skills; ability to quickly and effectively acquire new clients

Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, relationship building and presentation skills

Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills

Must have the ability to represent Corpay in a polished and professional manner to existing and potential clients

Knowledge of commercial payments and services preferred

Must have strong work ethic and self-discipline

Experience selling to or managing all levels of relationships with corporate clients in the banking or finance industry preferred

A passion for the activity needed to excel - making one more phone call, one more visit, etc

Knowledge of commercial payments and services preferred.

Strong excel experience preferred.

Salesforce or CRM experience preferred

Payments or software sales background

B2B commercial sales professional who has experience selling into CFO office

Experience selling into a matrixed environment

Ability to self-generate leads and build pipeline.

Prior experience in industry where self-generation of sales opportunities was required

Ability to perform effective sales meetings and presentations via zoom/communications platforms 

Communicates effectively to the appropriate levels of leadership within the prospective company

Entrepreneurial with negotiation skills and virtual selling experience

Financial thought process, has done deal design and understands financials

Proven ability to partner with other industry professionals in lead generation

Takes initiative and is looking for a life changing/income producing opportunity

Continuous learner who shows learning through examples; specifically important when coming from an outside the industry

Understanding of accounting processes preferred

Travel required; up to 25%
