Role Summary:
- This position is responsible of commissioning of pre-series vehicles for ID4 (EV) and Atlas (ICB).
- She/he is analyzing errors and evaluate countermeasures to ensure buildability of the vehicles and on time delivery.
- Follow pre-series vehicles in Production or stationary builds to document any EE related buildability topics.
- Support Production in EE related topic for deeper analysis and providing solutions incl. documentation and rework/training instructions.
- Analyze statistic data to build up documentation for analysis.
- Lead escalation meetings for EE related commissioning problems together with other departments and suppliers to ensure quick solution implementation.
- Work together with the relevant departments e.g. Development, Logistic, Production and Quality Assurance.
- Support of the CFT E/E and other CFTs or working groups on request.
Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely commissioning of vehicles and analysis in accordance to pre-series build schedule.
- Ensure high quality in each build stage.
- Work together with UPS and Pilot Hall Assembly time to ensure Pre-Series vehicles archiving CP8 in time.
- Document the rework time per vehicle and time spend on tasks.
- Perform analysis to identify root causes and propose counter measures, incl. documentation.
- Analyze root causes of problems through evaluation of data and hands on techniques and document results.
- Summaries results in a short documentation for upper management and escalation meeting.
- Invite and Lead tech. escalation meeting to ensure solutions will be provided in time
- Work in cross functional team workgroups for problem solving activities and support analysis.
- Analyze measurement reports, drawings, technical descriptions and 3D models for any buildability issue.
- Document buildability problems in KPM, Streifenliste or in similar tools.
- Distribute the report in relation to the project status.
- Perform part sample production trials to detect process defects or errors and to confirm product changes and quality improvements.
- Provide product “re-work” instructions and one time training lessons.
- Support Assembly and Finish for Direct Run affecting topics
Required Qualification:
- Degree in Electric/Electronic or proof of similar qualification
- Experience with vehicle electronic networks/systems (i.e. CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
- 2+ years experiences with vehicle functions and share network communication
- English fluent - verbal and written
- Experience with vehicle analysis tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years job related experience with automotive background
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Tool knowledge of VW ODIS, IDEX, Vector, CP Builder, CANape or CANoe, DiaRa or similar
- Allowance to work on EV (HV certificate L2)
- VW MQB or MEB Platform experiences
