Product Manager-Personal Lines

Summary: Under moderate supervision and following standard procedures with some independent judgment, supports the product management function conducting research and analysis of company products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Conducts product research for both new and existing products by:
   1. Gathering information from internal subject matter experts, competitors, industry data, internal reports, and other sources, as appropriate.
   2. Analyzing data and preparing charts, exhibits and other materials.
   3. Conducts relativity comparisons for factors such as; base rate, territories, deductibles and coverage limits. 
2. Supports the rate making process by:
   1. Assembling exhibits to be used for the creation of rates; including but not limited to, loss ratio exhibits for rating criteria common to the company’s multilvariate rate plan. 
   2. Assembling exhibits to support rating decisions; including the creation of premium and dislocation summaries. 
3. Conducts ad hoc data queries utilizing tools such as SQL and SaaS to group data for analytical review.
4. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: Level 5: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
