Systems Administrator
Summary: Under general supervision and with independent judgment, develops and maintains large computer applications/systems, including enterprise applications. Ensures assigned systems are working properly, evaluates application/system performance to maintain standards, investigates and resolves complex software and hardware problems of users by performing the following duties.
**Applicants with experience managing OnBase Document imaging solutions are desired.
**Applicants with experience managing Privilege Access Management solutions are desired.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Following defined processes, performs daily monitoring of applications/systems and enterprise systems (such as Active Directory, Imaging, E-mail, Thunderhead, Guidewire, and Peoplesoft), verifying the integrity and availability of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
- Installs, updates, configures and monitors application/systems, working with other IT teams to ensure appropriate groups and security rights exist
- Ensures enterprise consistency and integration where appropriate
- Using problem management procedures, investigates and resolves software and hardware problems, handling problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up
- Coordinates and manages scheduled maintenance and unscheduled outages
- Prepares standard statistical reports
- Creates application documentation as necessary
- Ensures timely resolution of problem issues in accordance with customer expectations and procedural documentation.
- Provides support and assistance to peers during problem resolutions situations, at times after normal business hours
- Leads crisis calls and coordinates efforts with other IT groups
- Provides status updates to users, supervisors, and management regarding problem resolution efforts.
- Documents all solutions and communications
- Works with vendors to resolve hardware and software issues while keeping supervisor and other Help Desk staff informed on progress
- Acts as liaison between IT and business units for assigned applications/systems.
- Provides technical direction to business units
- May coordinate and execute basic training for new employees on computer hardware, software, and security.
- Works with appropriate IT groups to meet business unit needs
- Responsible for maintaining application licensing compliance.
- Coordinates licensing programs with vendors
- Prepares budget information
- Develops defined processes for application support, using standard template
- Ensures process are maintained and updated
- Serves as a contributing member of project teams, or leader of project teams, coordinating resources to ensure achievement of project activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
Level 5: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
