The pay range for this position is $140,800 - $197,055/annually. This is a remote based position.

The Accounts Director is responsible for the day-to-day management of the assigned account(s) and ultimately driving mutually-beneficial business decisions to create value, revenue and profit for both FreshReam and assigned accounts.  The role will hold accountability as the primary point of contact with Culinary, Product, Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Relationship Management: Develops, maintains and grows lasting relationships with key stakeholders by understanding focus and needs, anticipating roadblocks and challenges, and proactively resolving potential conflict.  The Account Director will have both the broadest purview and deepest insight and knowledge of all aspects of the business.   
  • Internal Stakeholder Management: Builds peer support and strong internal-company relationships across NPD/Commercialization, Operations, and Finance to drive and optimize the business.  
  • Revenue Generation: Identifies opportunities for client revenue improvements including new innovations and product extensions.  Oversees the FreshRealm internal brief process, evaluation and eventual implementation of any FreshRealm projects required to support client’s initiatives.
  • Customer Service and SLA’s: Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of SLA reporting.  Work closely with Client’s Customer Service team to quickly identify potential issues and proactively resolve such issues before they negatively impact SLA’s. Proactively works with Operations counterparts to improve processes which result in continuous SLA performance.
  • Cross-Functional Management: Leads cross-functional resources in the delivery of excellence around the account. With growth, will be required to manage direct reports in areas such as performance management, developing skill sets, coaching, mentoring, and supporting development opportunities.
  • Data Insights & Analysis: Works closely with the Finance team to analyze financial metrics and develop meaningful data insights that increase revenue and overall profit from the account. Meaningful data insights may include core menu optimization, NPD recommendations, and competitive insights.
  • Forecasting & Planning: Coordinates revenue forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used to support the customer account(s).  Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the planning efforts.

Qualifications:

Skills and Requirements

  • 10 years of senior leadership experience in a product, sales, marketing and/or business development, ideally in the food industry with a focus on E-Commerce

  • Proven experience launching high impact, complex product offerings in a highly matrixed environment. 

  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding influencing skills and drive a sense of urgency and engagement throughout both internal and external constituents.

  • Well-rounded business “athlete” with exceptional business development, relationship management, and financial acumen  and a track record of success in building and growing businesses

  • Must have E-Commerce/DTC experience with Consumer Goods or Services, preferably in the food space.

  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented to ensure process, reports and data management are executed flawlessly.

  • Possesses strong project management skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects from conception to execution.

  • Experience in leading high performance cross-functional teams through influence, motivation, and development

  • Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills throughout all levels of an organization including senior leadership

  • Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives

  • Comfortable working in an agile, highly collaborative, and entrepreneurial dynamic work environment

  • Independently driven, resourceful, and able to deliver results with minimal direction

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field

Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location.  We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
