Kitchen Team Lead

The hourly pay range for this position is $22-$25/hr. This position is based out of our Linden, NJ location. FreshRealm is looking for a Kitchen Specialist in our Fulfillment Center to indirectly oversee a team of 25+ full-time Kitchen Associates. You’ll be responsible for the execution of your team’s daily plan and ensuring that all Associates are complying to company processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for training of new hires and/or temporary Associates

• Owns execution of SOPs and holds Associates accountable; escalates discrepancies to Supervisor when necessary

• Owns the safety of the team, ensures that all Associates are in a safe working environment 100% of the time

• By owning the team’s quality standards, ensure that we send out a quality product to our customers

• Assist Supervisor with development of the team and assist with training of critical roles.

• Motivate and challenge the team to achieve and exceed daily performance goals

• Engage and show respect to associates on a daily basis. Build team morale to drive productivity and quality standards

Qualifications

Skills and Requirements

• Clear and concise communicator, verbal and written

• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure

• Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

• Flexible availability; we work night and weekend shifts

• Must be willing and able to work overtime as required

Experience / Education

• Minimum of 1 year of experience  in inventory and receiving, management experience preferred.
• Demonstrated analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills
• Experience with warehouse (WMS), operations (OMS), and enterprise (ERP) management systems and processes a plus
• Must be 18 or older to apply as required for machinery and/or equipment utilization
• High school diploma or GED
