Position Summary:
The IT Director will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our comprehensive IT infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and performance meet the needs of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in a wide range of technologies, including Fortinet, 8x8, Nutanix, Office 365, Cisco Nexus, and various other platforms and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fortinet Management:Manage and optimize Fortinet security solutions, including FortiGate firewalls and FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer, to safeguard our network infrastructure.
  • 8x8 Contact Center Integration:Coordinate the integration of 8x8 contact center solutions with Polycomm phones, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across the organization.
  • Nutanix Virtualization:Oversee the virtualization infrastructure powered by Nutanix, maintaining high availability and performance for critical workloads.
  • Office 365 Suite Management:Administer Office 365 Suite, including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and other components, to enhance productivity and collaboration.
  • Cisco Nexus 9k:Manage Cisco Nexus 9k switches for reliable and high-speed networking within our environment.
  • Financial Applications Support:Provide support for financial applications such as Sage, Doculink, and Biz Insight to ensure smooth operations of financial processes.
  • Security and Identity Management:Implement and manage security solutions including Mimecast, Duo, and CrowdStrike, as well as identity management solutions like ADFS, Azure AD, and Duo SSO.
  • Server and Virtualization Technologies:Administer Windows, Linux (Ubuntu), Hyper-V, and QNAP environments, ensuring optimal performance and resource allocation.
  • Backup and Recovery:Implement backup solutions using Rubrix, Veeam, and other tools to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery preparedness.
  • Collaboration Tools:Support collaboration platforms such as Zoom, Jira, and Microsoft Teams to facilitate effective communication and project management.
  • Domain Environment Management:Manage multiple domains and forests, including domain controllers, DNS, and Active Directory services.
  • Web Server Administration:Oversee website hosting environments utilizing WordPress, Apache, Tomcat, and IIS, ensuring uptime and security.
  • Monitoring and Reporting:Utilize monitoring tools like SMARTSHEETS, PowerBI, and Smarts to proactively monitor system performance and generate insightful reports.
  • File Server Management:Maintain Fileserver DFS/NTFS/Share Permissions for efficient and secure file storage and access.
  • Compliance and Governance:Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, implementing necessary controls and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (10 years) in managing complex IT infrastructure environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Fortinet, 8x8, Nutanix, Office 365, Cisco Nexus, and other relevant technologies.
  • Excellent understanding of security principles and best practices.
  • Experience with financial applications like Sage, Doculink, and Biz Insight is a plus.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, Fortinet NSE, Microsoft, and VMware are advantageous.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
