Summary
Responsible for effective and professional support of the A.L.L Club Youth Collaborative (ACYC), Supervising staff, maintaining relationships with various funding partners, and increasing community awareness. The Coordinator will work closely with Program Directors and will lead and participate in the day to day functions and activities of the A.L.L. Club Youth Collaborative.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Director of A.L.L. Club Youth Collaborative with efficiency and effectiveness to support the direction consistent with the Agency’s strategic plan.
- Effectively share responsibilities and expectations of A.L.L. Club Youth Collaborative staff and provide mentoring and guidance, including interns and volunteers as needed.
- Responsible for supporting and implementing program curriculum in partnership with Program Directors.
- Provide direct care supervision of youth during all aspects of the daily routine, monitor school attendance and progress, and assist with homework/tutoring.
- Cooperates with other staff members in achieving goals and treatment philosophies of A.L.L. Club Youth Collaborative.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Responsible for supervision of A.L.L. Club staff, interns, and volunteers.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health, Criminal Justice or related field is preferred. Experience in lieu of education requirements will be considered.
- 3-5 years’ experience working directly with youth and young adults.
- Must have a strong understanding of mental health conditions, trauma and/or substance use, empathy for individuals within the community.
- Demonstrated experience creating and/or implementing curriculum for youth in a nonprofit organization.
- Experience working with community groups and coordinating fundraising activities is desired.
- Demonstrated leadership skills including recruiting, performance management, and conflict resolution, are essential. Training in de-escalation techniques preferred.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Qualifications
Must maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to Goodwill's liability insurance provider.
Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.
