Position Summary

Help to produce the finest quality product at rates and standards consistent with the Company’s desire to be a Preferred Supplier of cost-effective, top-quality products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING.  OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.

1. Move all finished stock from machines to the designated areas.
2. Make up packaging materials for machines and ensure quality construction.
3. Apply strapping, corner posts, stretch wrap, and labels in a consistent location before moving products to the shipping area.
4. Use specified Company #’s, Customer #’s, and packing material as required.
5. All other reasonable duties as required by Crew Leader and/or Supervisors.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist in all phases of machine and department operation as needed for breaks, changes, or special projects.
2. Maintain an adequate number of supplies at your workstation.  Notify Supervisor or Plant Manager when supplies are low and need to be replenished.
3. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
4. Foster an attitude of lean thinking, sustain improvements and follow lean initiatives.

Starting Salary

Minimum $20.00/hour, depending on experience
