Summary
Provides supervision and support to a team of WFD professionals to ensure the successful implementation of various workforce development programs. This role oversees program/service delivery, tracks enrollment, training completions, employment placements, and other program outcomes as needed. Completes monthly and quarterly quality assurance audits. Develops relationships with community partner and employer partners.
Essential Job Functions
- Recruitment: Participates in targeted outreach activities to increase enrollment of eligible program participants.
- Training: Supports customers in identifying, pursuing, and successfully obtaining necessary training and/or credentials or certifications for their chosen career paths.
- Employment: Collaborates with Business Services Liaison to build relationships with local employers and community partners to enhance program offerings and secure job placement opportunities for program participants.
- Quality Assurance and Audits: Conducts ongoing quality assurance audits on customer files to ensure program integrity and effectiveness.
- Data Management and Scorecard Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer progress, complete monthly audits, and generate program scorecards to track and report on outcomes.
- Staff Supervision and Support: Directly supervise assigned staff, provide staff with coaching on best practices for career readiness and employment, conduct training to ensure that assigned staff understand how to use the necessary tools to perform their jobs and provide proper development opportunities.

- Promote quality service by ensuring effective communication between team members and other Goodwill departments, providing consistent expectations, and ensuring proper employee training.
- Identify performance or workflow challenges and work with the manager and other coordinators to resolve them.
- Participate in marketing efforts and provide ongoing contact with referring agencies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience – An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. |
- Minimum four years of experience in program coordination or supervisory experience.
- Must have a valid OH driver’s license and personal car insurance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities which may be representative, but not all-inclusive of those commonly associated with this position. |
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic office equipment/machines.
Proficiency in using reporting tools and software is essential, along with the ability to present data clearly and effectively.Clear verbal communication skills and ability to give and follow written and oral instructions.Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions.Ability to use good judgment and think quickly and rationally in difficult or stressful situations.
