With 91 years of history, Harkins Theatres is looking for a Logistics Fulfilment Specialist who will work closely with the Parts & Logistics Manager on completing daily deliveries and pick-up of equipment, parts, furniture, construction materials, etc. as well as minor repairs and maintenance of company equipment and/or property.

What You Will Be Doing: 

  • Together with P&L Manager, create weekly delivery schedules and develop daily route plans that are cost effective, and time efficient.
  • Perform daily vehicle/equipment safety checklist to ensure vehicles are well maintained and safe for use.
  • Tracking routine maintenance for all vehicles and ensuring all equipment/vehicles always remain at top performance. Any issues, damage should be reported to the P&L Manager immediately.
  • Loading and unloading of designated products on and off vehicles/trailers.
  • Operate forklifts and/or pallet jacks to unload trucks and relocate materials and equipment within the warehouse. 
  • Communicate with delivery recipients to explain delivery/pick-up windows, delays, or changes to schedule.
  • Order rental equipment (Forklifts, Scissor Lifts, Moving Trucks, etc.) for various projects and ensure they are called off on time.
  • Schedule freight shipping for large parcels and ensure timely delivery for various projects throughout the company.
  • Some projects may require basic assembly or disassembly of certain products. Basic knowledge and experience with hand tools is required.
  • Regular attendance and physical presence at the work site.  Travel required between designated company locations and supply houses daily. Some weekend shifts may be required to assist with transporting materials for various projects and supporting other department needs.
  • Records regular work, mileage and expense reports utilizing computer-based programs.
  • Must have current auto insurance at all times as well as valid driver’s license.
  • Must carry a cell phone and be available evenings and weekends for emergencies.
  • Must maintain and properly use company issued tools and materials.
  • Communicates effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Sets high standards for self, while maintaining company standards, policies, and procedures to ensure delivery of the ultimate moviegoing experience at all times.
  • Maintains a professional working environment while setting a positive and professional example.
  • Requires bending, stretching, reaching, squatting, twisting, pushing, pulling, standing, walking up/downstairs and on flat or uneven surface, lifting up to 75 pounds, interacting with employees and vendors, sitting, typing on a computer, speaking on the telephone, climbing a ladder/scaffold, problem solving, and cognitive skills.

 

Additional Duties

  • Assist warehouse, theatres, and other technicians with daily responsibilities.
  • Receive, log, and store/distribute parts and materials as required. 
  • Break down old equipment for scrap, assemble new equipment, perform necessary repairs on existing equipment.
  • Assist in organizing warehouse. Moving pallets, stocking shelves, re-building shelves to accommodate new products, inventorying product.
  • Preparing outgoing packages for shipment and preparing shipping labels.
  • Basic clean-up and maintenance of the warehouse facility.
  • Other job-related duties, as assigned.

  • High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of experience in logistics and/or delivery. CDL certification preferred.
