Certified Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist - Picayune Internal Medicine (Part Time No Benefits)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Certified Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist performs patient-oriented procedures under the supervision of a physician.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum requirements will include a high school diploma or equivalent and certification as a Medical Assistant; current phlebotomy and CPR certifications.
Personal skills include a willingness to assign a high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction; the ability to communicate effectively; and the ability to work compatibly with providers, other department members, and employees in other Clinic departments.
Physical guidelines include ability to stand/walk for up to eight hours/day, bend, stoop, twist, assist patients in turning, assist patients in arising from exam table, push wheelchair patients, and assist patients in arising from and returning to wheelchair.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
