Patient Accounts Representative - Laurel Dermatology

POSITION SUMMARY:  The Patient Account Representative registers new patients, verifies and pre-certifies insurance; monitors all patient accounts prior to the patient seeing the doctor; verifies all insurance information; counsels patients about their accounts and handles all patient complaints regarding the account; sets up any necessary pay arrangements.

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; medical insurance knowledge preferred; computer knowledge; excellent people skills; ability to handle stress well and cope with any situation; professionalism.


WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00A.M - 5:00P.M.
