Medical Technologist - Lab

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Medical Technologist works under general supervision to perform moderate and high complexity laboratory procedures involving a high degree of independent judgment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum requirements include a B.S. in an approved Medical Technology program or a B.S. in a chemical or biological sciences, including one full year of training in an approved hospital Medical Technology Program. No bench experience required. This level includes all Technologists with less than three years of generalist experience; and all part time technologists. Preferred background includes previous experience in a clinical laboratory, preferably in a medical group setting.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday-Friday 8:30AM - 6:30PM, four days a week with a rotating day off.
