Certified Medical Assistant, Scheduling Coordinator - Vascular Surgery

POSITION SUMMARY: The scheduling coordinator/CMA is responsible for scheduling patients for imaging studies in the Vascular lab and for scheduling follow-up imaging studies post-procedures as directed by the provider.

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program; has current CMA certification; has current CPR certification; prefer one (1) year of clinical experience. Desired personal skills include ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent computer skills, including data entry and knowledge of medical terminology. Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work compatibly with physicians and staff members in the office and Vascular Lab. Must be able to work moderately independent and demonstrate initiative.

Physical guidelines include ability to stand/walk for up to eight hours/day; bend to handle files and supplies, stoop, twist or sitting for extended periods of time.

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
