Job Overview
 
This is a union position.

 

HealthRight-360, is a 200 bed residential facility for adult men who are in custody and on parole. We provide comprehensive substance use disorder and mental health services. Treatment episode ranges in time from 6 months to 12 months. HealthRight-360 is a fast-based environment where communication is paramount in order to provide cutting edge services to men in a residential treatment setting as well as their families. Our goal is to reintegrate persons served back into the community with the necessary skills to remain substance and crime free. 

Provides quality trauma-informed mental health services in an MCRP (Male Community Reentry Program) residential facility. Provides clinical assessments, treatment plans, therapeutic services (individual, family, couples, and group), and crisis intervention services. Provide support and assistance in problem solving resolution. Maintain clinical charts and completes documentation in the appropriate timeframe. Be a part of a multi-disciplinary team that works to address stability, mental health and substance use disorders.  

 

Key Responsibilities

Individual Treatment Responsibilities: Provides individual psychotherapy services in a residential setting and manages a caseload of 10-12 clients. Facilitates 2-4 therapeutic group session a week. Maintains confidentiality while working as part of a treatment team and adhering with program norms. Participates in case conferences, treatment planning and clinical discussions to provide holistic care. Communicates with prescribing psychiatrists (BHR Clinicians) regarding psychotropic medication compliance, side effects, follow up appointments. Will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, participate in staff, clinical meetings, and community meetings as assigned. Provide crisis intervention services. Complete all documentation within the mandated time-frame. Participates in agency trainings as required. Complies with Board of Behavioral Sciences requirements for license registration/renewal.

Documentation Responsibilities: Conducts Mental Health assessments, develops treatment plans, and completes necessary intake documentation in a timely manner. Utilizes the electronic health record (Weligent) with guidelines established by HealthRIGHT 360 to satisfy internal and external evaluating requirements. 

And, other duties as assigned.

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education and Experience Required:

  • Licensed or Board Registered LMFT or AMFT, LCSW or ACSW
  • Must be registered and in good standing with the BBS 
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Desired:

  • LCSW   
  • Minimum two years of experience in a behavioral health care; experience with forensic/reentry co-occurring disorders preferred
  • Knowledge of the DSM-V
  • Supervised experience in mental health or psychiatric setting with varied populations
  • Demonstrates clinical paperwork and record keeping abilities
  • Familiarity with trauma informed therapy models, cognitive–behavioral therapy, brief psychotherapy, and psycho-educational approaches.
  • Clinical experience in performing risk assessment and crisis intervention

Background Clearance Required:

  • Must not be on active parole or probation, clear with OIG database.
