At Laurel house, we are providing  individualized and integrated clinical services that are designed to address the complexity of men's needs. The clinical program is the core of every treatment plan for men in the residential, outpatient, and continuing care program.

Overnight Client Safety Navigator are responsible for maintaining and assessing the safety and security of the program and its residents while providing a supportive treatment environment. Through effective communication, Overnight Client Safety Navigator relay relevant information to other members of the interdisciplinary team and perform crisis interventions as needed. Overnight Client Safety Navigator ensure that the treatment environment is safe and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities

Safety and Security Responsibilities: Remains alert and awake during the entire overnight shift. Performs hourly checks on clients throughout the house,  to ensure and maintain accountability of all clients and the safety and security of the facility.  Performs crisis intervention and communicates with treatment team as unforeseen situations arise. Documents client updates and incidents in the facility log daily. Performs CPR and First Aid as needed. May work weekends and holidays as needed.

Treatment Setting Responsibilities: When assigned, documents and accurately distributes client money, ensures client medications is securely stored and properly accounted for and hold facility keys. Appropriately files any outstanding paperwork. Maintains tracking sheet and sends to the appropriate departments before the end of the shift. Attends required training's and meetings.

And, other duties as assigned.

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Drivers license class C
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • First Aid Certified within 30 days of employment 
  • CPR Certified within 30 days of employment
  • TB testing
In compliance with the California Department of Public Health's mandate, all employees must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Medical and religious exemptions are available.
