The general range for this position is $52,000 - 62,000. Salary offers will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, skills, training and education.

 

The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the nation’s most effective animal advocacy organization, is seeking two Specialist, Paid Media for the Digital Marketing department. In this position you will assist with key aspects of the digital advertising and acquisition program in accordance with the organization’s advocacy and fundraising goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and assists with digital advertising campaigns to meet fundraising goals. Assists with online advertising campaigns from strategic planning to execution, using a portfolio of paid channels including paid search, paid social media, and display;
  • Maintains ongoing reporting spreadsheets for online advertising campaigns. Evaluates performance data and provides analysis with feedback and recommendations;
  • As needed, collaborates with internal and external teams to produce ad copy and visual assets within brand guidelines, and coordinates all other content needed to implement paid advertising campaigns and third-party list buys;
  • Acts as a liaison and project manager with internal program stakeholders to ensure that digital acquisition campaigns are successfully executed, and revenue goals are realized;
  • Monitors and responds to comments on paid social media channels, and to supporter inquiries;
  • Performs other duties as assigned.  

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required;
  • At least two (2) years of experience in digital marketing activities required;
  • Experience managing campaigns in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Business Manager preferred;
  • Experience with Google Analytics, 3rd Party Ad Servers, and CRM systems preferred;
  • Professional/effective verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and internet use;
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task;
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment;
  • Strong work ethic that demonstrates initiative, a focus on quality, and good judgment;
  • Google Analytics and Google Grants knowledge preferred;
  • Keen sense of strategy and project management skills preferred;
  • Interest in animal protection issues a plus.
