The Investor Relations Specialist is a critical link to servicing high net worth accredited investors, financial advisors and broker-dealers on private placement real estate offerings.  This position is primarily responsible for responding to inbound telephone and e-mail inquiries regarding over 150 real estate investment funds.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answers incoming telephone calls relating to a fund and/or property’s performance which may require research and follow-up.
  • Monitors and responds to e-mail inquiries relating to a fund and/or property’s performance which may require research and follow-up.
  • Conducts research and/or escalates high profile or difficult questions.
  • Collaborates with multiple departments regarding the status of investment funds/properties.
  • Coordinates and assists investors with paperwork regarding a sale or refinance; manages follow-up on outstanding paperwork.
  • Coordinates investor webinars.
  • Demonstrates highest standards of personal and professional integrity, adheres to company’s policies and procedures, and complies with applicable laws, government rules and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • This position prefers a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Business from a four-year college or university or equivalent professional knowledge and/or work experience.

 

Experience:

  • This position requires over 2 years and up to 5 years of prior professional customer service/client service experience, preferably in a real estate, finance or investment industries environment.
  • Conflict resolution experience is preferred.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for this position, as well as the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work both with a team and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required for this position.
  • Experience with CRM software is required.
  • Keyboarding skills are required for this position.
