*Part-Time* IT Infrastructure Support Specialist 

We are looking for a part-time consultant who can provide tier 1 tech support and technical writing for our team. As a consultant, you will:

• Assist with the planning, implementation, maintenance and documentation of all facets of reliable, efficient, integrated computer information networks.
• Provide assistance and training to all members in the use of our computer network, workstations, and in-vehicle equipment.
• Document customer issues and resolutions in a clear and concise manner.
• Create and update user guides, FAQs, and other technical documentation for various products and services.
• Collaborate with other consultants and engineers to ensure quality and consistency of technical content.
• Provide helpdesk support, via phone, computer, in person, and through our ticketing system, for most issues related to desktop software, hardware and peripherals.
• Maintain good working relationships with all cooperative workers.
•  Treat co-workers and members with respect and courtesy.

This is an onsite only position and you will be expected to work up to 20 hours per week.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Experience in tech support or technical writing
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and other common software applications

• Knowledge: Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems, databases, and Cisco network security.
• Skills:
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of database management (e.g., SQL).
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals and security practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience: Prior internship or part-time work experience in an IT-related role is a plus but not required.
