SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Business Development and Sr. Retail Account Manager, the Retail Business Analyst will be a key player in providing data analytics to drive strategic plans to grow fuel and non-fuel sales.  Desired competencies include excellent communication, critical thinking and solution focused skills with a sense of urgency in responding to internal requests.  Ideal candidate must be trustworthy in maintaining company and client confidentiality, have a proven track record of setting priorities under tight deadlines, is a motivated self-starter who can work on multiple projects and priorities within a fast-paced environment.  The selected candidate is expected to have highly proficient    data analytics and professional writing experience.  Must have advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.  Prior experience in energy/retail environment is strongly preferred.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Market Analysis: Produce and maintain industry and market analysis trends for fuel and non-fuel sales to analyze business performance, provide insights, recommend, and develop innovative solutions to improve strategic and operational performance. 
  2. Retail Team Support:  Assist Retail Team with data and trend analysis to drive strategic business plan development and tactical business opportunities.
  3. Serve as team's SME for retail analytic systems and software (e.g. TAIGA data systems, P&L, CMAP pricing data)
  4. Create tools and reports, dashboards to help Retail team understand business performance against metrics.
  5. Assist Retail Facility, Maintenance & Safety Manager with data analysis for R&M, compliance, and safety metrics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

  1. Three (3) years of experience in business and data analytics or commensurate work experience.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or comparable field of study.

  2. Pass background check including periodic job-related physical abilities testing as required.
  3. This is a safety sensitive position and random drug testing is required.
  4. Valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
  5. Willingness to devote the time as needed to meet packet and task deadlines.
  6. Willingness to maintain or increase skills.
  7. Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) within sixty days of hire.
  8. This is not a remote or hybrid position.  Position requires in-person attendance.

 

 

PAY AND BENEFITS:
