Regional Sales Support Representative [REMOTE - CA / AZ]

Iteris is seeking a Regional Sales Support Representative to work remotely out of California or Arizona. The role is a combination of inside sales, lead generation and administration through telephone and email communication. This is an exceptional career making opportunity in the rapidly growing smart cities, connected vehicles and traffic industry, utilizing AI technologies.

What you will be doing:

• Provides customer service by responding to inquiries and concerns of customers
• Use established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and consistent responses to inquiries, focusing on addressing the specific issue as quickly as possible
• Coordinate and manage schedules of technicians for customer installations
• Receive, process, and verify orders, including customer information and payment details
• Liaise with the operations department to ensure timely deliveries
• Interaction with customers is primarily through the use of phone and email, but also use of other technology resources as needed

What you need to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• High School Diploma required
• 3-5 Customer Service Experience in supporting customers’ needs
• 3-5 years phone sales experience
• Experience in order entry and processing
• Experience in managing scheduling such as setting meetings and following up on meeting dates and times
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant

Iteris anticipates paying between $29.00 and $32.00 for this role. However, actual pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.
