Corporate Accountant

As a Corporate Accountant at Jacksons, you’ll be key to handling essential corporate accounting tasks and ensuring the timely preparation of internal documents, financial analyses, and operational reports for both internal management and external stakeholders. Some of what you will do as a Corporate Accountant:

• Prepare and post general ledger entries.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and review monthly profit and loss statements.
• Complete various excise tax returns.
• Compile year-end and interim work papers.
• Assist with additional duties and special projects as required.

You will be a great fit if you have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Proficiency with computers, including strong skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where teamwork is crucial.
• Proven experience working effectively both independently and within a team.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet regular deadlines.
• Skilled in clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization.
• A track record of being reliable, detail-oriented, and professional.
• Excellent data analysis, organizational, problem-solving, and computer application skills.

Physical Requirements:
The work may be done in a sitting position with no excessive lifting, pulling, or pushing, and limited twisting, bending, and stooping.   While performing the duties of this job, there is required use of hands and fingers to handle or feel objects and controls; reach with hands and arms.
