Social Media & PPC Search Analyst
We are searching for an exceptional and highly-skilled Social Media & PPC Search Analyst who is experienced in social + search paid advertising, savvy working with data, and creative in producing clickable/engaging marketing content. You will actively execute comprehensive PreK-12 social media and search PPC campaigns. This opportunity requires a deep in-depth knowledge of paid social and paid search advertising tactics as well as the ability to coordinate, research, and produce impactful marketing content for deployment across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Google Ads). Beyond a talent for marketing, the successful candidate will exude passion and a drive for excellence in all they do, including becoming a great storyteller of our exciting Savvas Learning Company brand in the K-12 education sector. An important part of this role will be working closely with internal teams to help create and offer recommendations for social media content, and your expertise will not just be limited to using social platforms. We will depend on you to understand how social media is a vital part of a larger, integrated digital marketing strategy that includes SEO, Analytics, and Email Marketing, and build a culture of testing and refinement.
This role will report to the Manager of Social Media/Content Marketing, and as a collaborative team, will be an influential part of the Social Media Marketing team. This exciting an exciting hybrid opportunity, giving preference to candidates based near our Paramus, NJ office or within the Northeastern United States.
Here is what you will get to do:
- Social Media Paid + Organic & Search Campaign Development & Execution
- Help lead in the development of social media and search campaigns/projects across functional teams that deliver stated business goals (e.g. Execute social media and search campaigns encompassing management, production, posting, and online conversations across multiple social networking platforms
- Actively engage with online communities via social networks, including routing inquiries for customer service, encouragement/support, and conversational engagement to promote corporate messaging and increase brand awareness
- Utilize social media visualization tools such as Photoshop, Canva, etc. to build graphical, highly engaging, shareable content
- Social Media Content Creation
- Create from scratch highly clickable & shareable content marketing deliverables to drive follower engagement and lead generation objectives
- Identify, curate, and recommend relevant 3rd party content that is actively being discussed online and/or is relevant to core (education) audiences
- Partner with key internal stakeholders & cross-functional teams to assist in a sustainable content marketing strategy
- Cultivate consistent, ongoing relationships with key influencers within the education space. Identifying partnership, collaboration, and co-marketing opportunities in social media that extend our reach and credibility
- Social & PPC Analysis and Reporting
- Responsible for developing strategies to optimize the effectiveness and efficiencies of campaigns
- Regularly reporting insights gained from social media monitoring tools, such as HootSuite or TalkWalker
- Use analytics to guide social media and digital marketing strategy, understanding KPIs for different campaigns to drive better results
- Budget management: monitor, track, re-forecast, and report on PPC spend
- Digital Marketing Strategy
- Contribute ideas to the team and maximize business impact in a fast-paced, collaborative digital environment
- Execute social media and PPC strategies that will increase brand awareness at the company and product level
- Collaborate with our PR & Corporate Communications team to help maximize reach, engagement, and impressions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
- 5 - 7 years of professional experience with Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Google Ads with proven results in impacting Key Performance Indicators of an organization.
- Knowledge of social media management, advertising, and productivity/analytics tools such as Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Social Studio, Google Ads, Facebook Insights, X(Twitter) Analytics, etc.
- Experience with social media design tools such as Photoshop, Canva, etc.
- Deep experience with data reporting & connector tools such as Excel, Supermetrics, etc.
- Understanding how social media plays a role within a larger marketing team to contribute to a unified vision of campaigns
- Minimum level of full-stack digital marketing knowledge.
- Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong interest in storytelling, business strategy, and education sector issues
Preferred:
- Experience as an educator or an education-focused background (non-profit, teaching, etc.)
- Professional writing and/or copy-editing
