Kindeva is a leading contract device and manufacturing organization (CDMO) that provides emergency and life-saving medicines to commercial and government customers. Cybersecurity Analyst is a technical and business focused colleague who works as a member of the IT Cybersecurity team responsible for Project Management, Identity Management and life-cycle administration of Kindeva enterprise on-prem/cloud server architectures relating to Cybersecurity. This position requires educational training and technical background in Cybersecurity/Project Management or related areas. Compensation will commiserate with experience and background.

What We Need From You

  • Work with senior cybersecurity analysts and technical leads to execute the tasks and work in the cybersecurity space
  • Provide support for threat hunting and basic analysis in support of cybersecurity team members.
  • With oversite, work to develop and build cyber security test scenarios
  • Program Manager of Global Risk Compliance tool that supports – IT, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, HR
  • Coordinate with internal customers to ensure GRC tool submissions are complete
  • Help drive cyber awareness programs and campaigns
  • Provides a secondary interface to external cybersecurity providers (eg SOC/MDR)
  • Security Audit/Assessment execution 
  • Manage Identity Governance Tool and interface with Service Delivery
  • Analyze business requirements and provide recommendations for building scalable solutions to meet security functional and non-functional requirements
  • Create and maintain documentation related to endpoint solutions; this may include conceptual, logical, and physical diagrams; new environment design documents; write ups on technical capabilities and solution configurations; etc.
  • Develop analytics/analyze data to improve situational awareness and make informed decisions.
  • Provides security assessments internal, external and vulnerability tests either directly or with cybersecurity partners 
  • Manage Cybersecurity Projects 
  • Participates as part of team for company cybersecurity incidents and remediation 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate with individuals and groups at multiple levels across the organization. 
  • Demonstrate commitment to training, self-study and maintaining proficiency in the technical cyber security domain. 
  • Ensures the introduction of new/ modified cybersecurity infrastructure happens in a planned, controlled, and timely manner to minimize business disruption and maximize benefit. 
  • Provide technical expertise, communications, and consulting to the business regarding cybersecurity risks, basic cybersecurity training, and best business practices related to securing information and systems.

Must Haves:

  • Proficient in English
  • Due to statutory requirements, must be a US Person as defined by the US Department of State.
  • Minimum AAS in Computer Sciences, Information Security, Information Systems, Engineering, Sciences, or related field
  • 3+ years in Cybersecurity support and administration and/or Project Management in corporate enterprise
  • Strong verbal communication skills – capable of explaining difficult concepts to lay people, engaging personality and actively asking questions for clarification and honing direction
  • Solid writing skills and style – capable of documenting cybersecurity programs and processes
  • Deep analytical problem solving skills – can break down complex problems into analysis sets that are more easier to manage
  • Go getter – sees what needs to be done, plans a path forward, and executes while maintaining communication IT team
  • Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, maturity models and Auditing
  • Exposure to IT concepts such as Windows Operating Systems, Cloud providers, Active Directory, DLP, IAM

Nice to Haves: 

  • Two of the following certifications sought or willing to obtain in first 12-18 months: 
    • ITIL foundations
    • EC-Council Network Security Administrator (ENSA) 
    • Certified Information Security Analyst (CISA) 
    • CompTIA's popular base-level security certification (Security+) 
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) 
    • Exposure to IT/Cybersecurity Tools such as: 
    • Crowdstrike NGAV 
    • Proofpoint 
    • Palo Alto Prisma Global Protect VPN  
    • Azure Authentication
    • IAM
    • Fastpath
    • DLP 
  • Experience with DFARS / NIST 800-171 / CMMC standards as a US Government contractor 
  • Project Management methodology (eg PMI) 
  • Security Audit Experience
  • Strong Documentation Skills
  • Understanding of cloud solutions, common security elements/controls, endpoint technologies, and trade-off analysis. 
  • Hosted cloud solutions / SaaS experience 
  • Exposure to DFARS, GDPR, CyberEssentials, PIIA, EAR, ITAR (desired, not required) 
  • Knowledge of FDA regulated systems or manufacturing system within the context of role (desired, not required)
