This is a new role for a data solutions architect or technical lead data engineer. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Kindeva's global data infrastructure. They will lead concept definition, architectural refinement, and the design and creation of solutions that support the strategic technology needs of the company. 

Responsibilities include:


•    Analyze, design, develop and implement data systems, infrastructure and architecture to meet the requirements of the organizational needs.  
•    Lead data acquisition efforts from digital execution platforms both ad-hoc in nature and at a system level
•    Understand, monitor, and enhance data flows to enable reporting and insights development, including tracking data quality
•    Advise on best practices around data management and quality policies
•    Oversee the design, development and tuning of data warehouses and data pipelines within Azure (CI/CD best practices)
•    Produce and maintain high-quality documentation to ensure transparency and understanding of solutions.
•    Maintain and support ETL/ELT integrations
•    Keep up to date on emerging technologies and assist with the creation of training programs for junior staff
•    Mentor junior staff

Qualifications:

Must have:
•    Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in relevant data positions.
•    Proven experience as a Data Solutions Architect or similar role
•    Deep understanding of data platform architecture and cloud data solutions. Working knowledge of Azure Fabric strongly preferred.
•    Expert knowledge of data management, data integration, and database development techniques, including API connections
•    Strong critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
•    Project management skills and experience with strong ability to prioritize

Nice to have:
•    Good knowledge of manufacturing processes
•    Experience with ERP systems and processes and application implementation
•    Experience of Quality Management and systems in a regulated industry environment
•    Experience with scripting languages, for example, R and PowerShell
