Kindeva is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Integration Architect to join our team and lead the design, development, and implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions focusing on data architecture, integrations, and Unified Namespace (UNS). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data integration, analytics, and cloud computing, as well as experience in GAMP manufacturing.

Your primary role will supporting needs within our California sites’ manufacturing, engineering, quality, and regulatory teams to understand their needs and challenges, and provide them with data-driven insights and recommendations. You will also participate in global standards and initiatives as part of our global Industry 4.0 IT Solutions team.

Kindeva maintains a modern suite of enterprise applications with numerous exciting expansion opportunities in progress and planned.  Beyond managing a highly effective suite of enterprise software applications we will be introducing an Industry 4.0 strategy and solutions for our global production sites.

The role reports to the IT Director of Manufacturing Systems. Relocation will be considered for qualified candidates. Travel is expected 0-10% depending upon on business objectives and project scope.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop data architecture for Industry 4.0 technology-based solutions.
  • General technology support for a variety of operations sites solutions; guidance, architecture, solution designs, and execution support.
  • Maintain close partnerships with key site customers to understand, and support, their technology needs.  
  • Contribute to build of Industry 4.0 architecture and playbook.
  • Integrate data from various sources, such as IoT devices, sensors, and enterprise systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency, quality, and security.
  • Develop and maintain data models, data flows, and data pipelines.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team.
  • Research and stay updated on the latest developments and trends in the pharma industry and the Industry 4.0 technologies, and propose new ideas and initiatives to drive innovation and excellence.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Proficient in English.
  • Due to statutory requirements and US government products Kindeva manufactures, must be a US Person as defined by the US Department of State.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data integration, data architecture, or data engineering
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT, cloud computing, and analytics
  • Experience with data integration tools and platforms, such as ETL/ELT, data virtualization, and data lakes
  • Programming skills; Python, ThingWorks, or other.
  • Litmus, MQQT,
  • Familiarity with data modeling and data management best practices
  • Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and best practices.
  • Knowledge of data security and data governance best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • 5+ years’ experience in an IT analyst role.
  • Solid understanding and experience and skill with computer hardware, communications protocols, unified namespace, and other Industry 4.0 related technologies.
  • PLC, SCADA, integration systems a plus.
  • Interest and proficiency with new technologies; software or hardware.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in an FDA/MHRA regulated environment.  Experience in a Sarbanes-Oxley, or similar, regulated environment also a plus.
  • Expertise in managing software projects including new enterprise implementations upgrades.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.  Global company experience also a plus.
  • Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and best practices.
