Kindeva Drug Delivery

Kindeva Drug Delivery is seeking experienced Electro Maintenance Mechanic to join our growing organization. This is a critical role within our Maintenance Department with responsibilities involving troubleshooting and repairing equipment.

 

Shift: 5 PM-5 AM alternating days (7 DAYS – 12 HR shifts every two weeks – Work Mon/Tuesday – Friday/Sat/Sun following week Wednesday/Thursday) 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leading the installation, repair and/or replace internal and external machine components such as shafts, bearings, gears, pulleys, rolls, couplings and motors. This includes assembling, fitting and aligning machinery and equipment using precision testing and measuring instruments, such as scales, dial indicators, micrometers, hole gauges, telescope gauges, tramming tools and similar instruments. 
  • Maintenance and repair of primary sensing elements, control circuitry and final control devices used in closed and open loop industrial process control systems. This includes electronic, digital, analog, pneumatic and mechanical methods of signal generating, conditioning, transmitting and recording.
  • Implementing set up, operation and safely use of equipment such as hand tools, wrenches, electric and air-powered portable tools; carpentry tools and machine tools such as grinders, drill presses, saws and similar shop equipment, moving, lifting and hoisting equipment.
  • Implementing set up, operation and safely use of equipment such as ammeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters to diagnose, evaluate and resolve electrical/electronic systems problems. 
  • Maintain work area clean and free from hazards, follow proper 5S principle and document and coordinate maintenance activities between maintenance crews by utilizing CMMS, logbooks, and shift crossover.
  • Support plant manufacturing equipment by performing Emergency Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance including lubrication of equipment and machinery following standard procedures as indicated on PM sheets or in equipment manuals. Perform Corrective Maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, repair, modification and making adjustments to plant manufacturing equipment. This also includes moving material, equipment and machinery using standard methods of lifting, rigging, hoisting, blocking skidding and rolling.
  • Support plant manufacturing equipment by performing Emergency Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, diagnose, repair, modification, calibration and making adjustments to complete systems, electrical/electronic system components, AC and DC motors and drives and circuits used in the measurement and control of current, voltage, temperature, humidity, speed, vacuum, pressure, tension, flow, time, frequency, thickness, density, level, width and velocity.
  • Creating updated mechanical drawings. This also includes fabrication of the replacement parts and working with Planner/Scheduler and engineering to make any improvements to equipment through corrective maintenance procedures.
  • Determining that the work to be performed is in compliance with N.E.C., OSHA, FDA and all other regulatory requirements. This includes the safe working methods/procedures at all times by actively wearing all required personal protective equipment: uniform/protective clothing, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, gloves, respirator (when required), etc. and following specific gowning procedures as required in both FOTs and the mixer and formulating suite.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED equivalent (completed and verified prior to hire)
  • 3 years of prior experience as an electro-mechanical technician in a private, public, government, or military environment, or in a role with similar responsibilities.
  • Must be able to read elementary drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Must be organized and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to read, write legibly, understand and communicate effectively in English.
  • Experience with installation and modification of control and power wiring, up to and including 480 volts AC

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in a pharmaceutical industry.
  • 2 Year Mechatronic Degree, or equivalent training in related field.
  • 5 years of applicable experience
  • Ability to perform TIG and MIG welding.
  • Familiar with FDA and DEA regulations, and GMP
