U-09 SPM Formulation Technician

ROLE SUMMARY

Responsible for the formulation of drug products and equipment preparation used in the filling process as per cGMP’s and SOP’s.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepare solutions used by other departments.

2. Weigh, formulate, and sterile filter the drug product.

3. Prepare complex equipment used in drug filling operations.

4. Assure drug and raw materials (RMP’s and RMC’s) accountabilities are maintained.

5. Must be able to perform calculations and analyze results such as pH results, etc...

6. Must be able to perform aseptic operations.

7. Must follow all safety and cGMP’s requirements.

8. Order departmental supplies and equipment, as directed.

9. Lifts heavy objects by hand within specified lifting limits .

10. Perform appropriate departmental housekeeping duties.

11. Other duties as assigned.

12. Participate in process improvements activities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

At a minimum, a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) or Associates Degree; six to twelve months related experience and/or training. Applicants with a college degree in Chemistry or documented course work in Chemistry is desirable.
