BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION

Promote and support all aspects of Kubota by gathering, maintaining, and communicating competitive product information, product line literature, product training, product launches, and other product line based activities to support field sales staff and dealers.  Identify and recommend new product developments, improvements, and strategies to increase sales. 

 

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:  This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:

  • Provide information and training to dealers and sales personnel, highlighting features and competitive advantages of new and existing products within assigned product line to increase product knowledge and sales.
  • Create and maintain product information within product support materials, including website, price book, product guides and bid specifications, social media, brochures, etc.
  • Recommend product positioning for advertising/website promotional and sales material and ensure product message is communicated properly.
  • Attend trade shows, sales meetings, and dealer meetings to promote assigned product line.
  • Act as a voice of the customer by surveying customers and dealers for product requirements and market trends.
  • Product launch support including product bulletins, price pages, website support, marketing campaigns, programming input and suggestions.
  • Review health of product through current product updates and through understanding of current issues.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or other agriculture related field preferred (including 3 years of experience with Ag Equipment).
    • In lieu of a degree, High School Diploma & 5 years related experience required.
  • Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of Ag Equipment product line and tractor industry. Mechanical aptitude including the ability to operate equipment within Ag Equipment product line.
  • Technology: Proficient using Microsoft & Google Suite and the ability to quickly learn and use other software packages.    
  • Possession of or ability to obtain a driver’s license.          

 

EQUIPMENT OPERATION: Office equipment including computer, copier, phone, printer

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Typical office environment.
