Product Manager, Kubota Credit Corporation (KCC)

BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION 
Working with-in the Product Management Team at Kubota Credit Corporation, U.S.A. (KCC) to create and enhance technology solutions that support lending & leasing operations as well as promote industry leading Customer and Dealer experiences. 

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:  This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:

• Create and maintain product roadmaps and backlogs related to the assigned customer facing areas including but not limited to the customer portal, customer emails, customer letters and other products as assigned.
• Provide information and training to business units and customers  highlighting features and enhancements of new and existing technology products.
• Act as a voice of the customer by surveying customers, business units and technology partners for product requirements and market trends.
• Gather and analyze industry and competitive support information to make recommendations for strategies to increase Company efficiency.
• Represent the customer / stakeholders needs and requirements to drive feature implementation and development with associated technology teams.
• Stay current with developing technologies, market changes and compliance landscape to enhance the strategic journey.
• Create product-focused content for business proposals.
• Product launch support including release notices, website support, marketing campaigns, programming input and suggestions.
• Review health of product through current product updates and through understanding of current issues.
• Other duties as assigned by management. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
•    7+ years of relevant product management experience (Financial Services Industry preferred)
•    Familiar with SDLC and Agile methodologies utilizing Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence and other technical documentation and prioritization tools. 
•    Effective verbal and written communication skills.  
•    Ability to translate technical information into lay terms.
•    Able to work effectively across multiple functions and disciplines.
•    Have the ability to work independently to support company objectives.
•    Strong business partner who understands how this role fits into the overall company objectives.
•    Excellent troubleshooting, time management, and multitasking skills.
•    Strong business process and organizational skills.
•    Previous experience developing policies and controls.
•    New business process development and existing process improvement.
•    Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, G Suite, and PowerPoint and the ability to quickly learn and use other software packages    
•    Possession of or ability to obtain a driver’s license.    

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Typical office environment.
