BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION

The Senior Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting the various functions for the company including cash management and securitization. The Senior Analyst will support reporting and transaction activities of securitization, short and long term funding. The Senior Analyst will also contribute to duties related to cash management and compliance

 

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:  This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:

  • Work on daily cash management reports.
  • Prepare and distribute securitization reports.
  • Assists Supervisor with training department personnel.
  • Trains and backs up Cash Management Analysts.
  • Analyze and reconcile all daily receipts and disbursements activity.
  • Supports all internal and external borrowing activities – intercompany and bank loans which includes all Kubota affiliates in North America (USD and CAD).
  • Assist with the management and administration of bank accounts.
  • Manage letters of credit, evaluate credit exposure, monitor fees, and process renewals.
  • Prepares the monthly debt compliance certificate and any covenant calculations.
  • Prepares the month-end KBT Treasury Report.
  • Prepares the month-end KNA Treasury report.
  • Prepares the quarterly KCC Treasury Report.
  • Work with Internal Audit to ensure all Treasury controls and compliance requirements are met.
  • Prepare supporting documents for debt and derivatives related to accounting.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including Legal, Tax, AP, AR and Accounting.
  • Lead with ad hoc projects like Oracle and SAP systems migration.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business required, Master’s degree preferred.
    • 5 years of Treasury or related experience required.
  • At least 3 years of Capital markets experience preferred.
  • At least 3 years of working with international banks preferred.
  • Advanced Business Analytics/Data Analysis is a plus
  • SAP and/or Oracle ERP experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and prioritization abilities
  • Results oriented with heavy focus on attention to detail and a fast learner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving and strategic thinking
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel is desired

 

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to communicate in English

 

EQUIPMENT OPERATION (% of time, description, nature of service):
Office equipment including computer, copier, fax, phone, printer

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Typical office environment.

This position is a great learning opportunity, as the successful candidate will be cross trained on a wide range of Treasury functions.
