BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION

Supports the Compact Utility Tractor (CUT) Product Team (0 -75hp). Promote and support all aspects of assigned product line.

 

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:  This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:

  • Create and maintain product information within product support materials, including monthly updating of competitive comparisons and price comparisons
  • Gather and analyze industry and competitive sales information from internal (S4) and external databases (EDA etc) to make recommendations on sales, inventory management and marketing strategies
  • Create and maintain Price Books, product guides, brochures, etc.
  • Provide information and training to dealers and sales personnel, highlighting features and competitive advantages of new and existing products within assigned product line to increase product knowledge and sales
  • Support product positioning for advertising/website promotional with and sales material and ensure product message is communicated properly
  • Product launch support including creating product bulletins, website support, marketing campaigns
  • Support the development and delivery of Product presentations at Sales Pro, Product Launch Rehearsals and Connect.
  • Act as a voice of the customer lead by surveying customers and dealers for product requirements and market trends. Work with KBT International Sales Teams and Divisions to prepare routes and Survey schedules.
  • Participate in local and national trade shows to promote the sale of Kubota CUT products.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND TRAINING:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Marketing, or other related fields.
  • 1 to 3 years related experience.
  • Proficiency using PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Word, and SAP with the ability to quickly learn and use other software packages
  • Possession of or ability to obtain a driver’s license.

  • Must be able to think strategically and make proposals in a logical way to generate business
  • Knowledge, skill, and ability to safely operate assigned products
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good interpersonal skills including the ability to develop effective internal and external working relationships
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills and ability to achieve assigned goals
  • Proficiency using SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Good public speaking skills      

 

TRAVEL:  25%

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Office and field environments: The position will require walking, standing and sitting at a computer.
