NATURE AND SCOPE
Reports to the Vice President, Finance. Plays a key role in developing and managing models to support decision making related to organizational and functional growth, profitability, and performance. Responsible for operation of key financial risk systems including data integration, validation, modeling, and reporting. Leads or works independently on significant financial planning, analysis, and reporting projects. Collaborates with other associates in finance, accounting, and business line functions to identify, measure, report and understand KPIs across the organization.

REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field and 3 years of financial analysis experience within the financial services industry, preferably at a financial institution. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
2. Experience with financial management and reporting systems including system maintenance, data compilation and custom reporting.
3. Experience collecting, analyzing, organizing, modeling, forecasting, and delivering financial data to various levels of internal stakeholders.
4. Excellent MS Excel skills along with knowledge of or ability to gain proficiency in PowerBI and other reporting and business intelligence systems.
5. Proven ability to coordinate, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks while maintaining high levels of accuracy and meeting deadlines.
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
7. Demonstrated ability to use independent judgment and discretion in various situations while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
8. Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must understand and comply with all job-related State and federal laws and regulations.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Responsible for operating assigned risk and reporting systems including instrument modeling, reporting, assumption management, variance analysis, forecasting, and quality assurance; builds analytical tools to gain efficiencies in modeling.
2. Lead the data compilation, validation, and integration of data for assigned risk and reporting systems; works to streamline the data process from sourcing to uploading.
3. Independently plan, collect, analyze, organize, and present results on assigned financial analysis and reporting projects.
4. Develops ad hoc financial models, forecasts, and analyses to support decision making related to organizational and functional growth, profitability, and performance.
5. Work collaboratively across the organization to identify, measure, report, understand and communicate KPIs at the organizational and business line level; maintains and models data in appropriate systems.
6. Builds partnerships with functional and business line managers to understand drivers, trends, opportunities, and risks within those lines.
7. Actively participate in analysis and modeling during periodic forecasting cycles; collaborate with assigned business lines and leading the organization, collection, validation, forecasting and presentation of data..
8. Assist with compiling, preparing, reviewing, and distributing financial statements and management reports.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
