Join our family of professionals at Broadview Multi-Care Center, a skilled nursing facility conveniently located on Broadview Road and offering multiple clinical specialties. 
 
State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) licensure in the State of Ohio required to be eligible to enroll in the course.
 
The Certified Medication Aide assists the facility charge nurse with accurate and timely medication distribution to the residents entrusted to our care. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and have a strong attention to detail. This person will also be an enthusiastic, reliable and compassionate individual with a passion for caring for others. The Certified Medication Aid must be able to follow physician orders and document the medication administration accurately and in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
 
Job Responsibilities:
STNA Certified Medication Aids provide high quality daily nursing care in accordance with each resident’s care plan and in accordance with facility policies & procedures as well as administer medications under the direction of the facility nurse as prescribed by the attending physician. In addition the CMA must maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation of medication administration. STNA Certified Medication Aids participate in scheduled trainings, in-services and programs to maintain certification and enhance the quality of care provided to all residents. STNA Certified Medication Aids provide timely communication to team members to aid in the care and treatment of residents and the development of person-centered care plans.
 
Education and Experience Requirements:
State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) licensure in the State of Ohio 
High School Diploma or GED required
Basic computer skills required; experience with Point Click Care preferred
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job including but not limited to lifting, bending, turning and pushing
